Opportunity:

We are excited to share our most recent investment in Flourish Care, a tech enabled maternal healthcare service company. The Company taps into an opportunity that has largely remained overlooked in the medical community: tech-enabled doula services for maternal care. The for doula-supported maternal care market is $4B and Flourish is targeting the over 1 million pregnancies per year in women with doula insurance coverage.

Despite the current political discourse around medical insurance, the Company is growing rapidly and 27 states now have active programs or are in the process of implementing insurance coverage for doula care, opening this market for expansion and growth. We anticipate major announcements from the Company in the near future on key customer contracts.

The company is at the commercial stage with their doula platform connecting expecting and new mothers with one-on-one Doula support during pregnancy, labor prep,  during labor and birth, breastfeeding and bottle-feeding, newborn sleep guidance and much more—all fully covered by insurance.

Flourish's platform, using advanced technology and evidence-based care protocols, is aimed at transforming birth outcomes through comprehensive maternal support, while also functioning as a scalable healthcare solution.

The platform targets  significant improvements in birth outcomes: reducing preterm births, cutting NICU stays by 50%, decreasing cesarean sections by 30%, and eliminating health disparities in maternal care.
